DASH Go to the portal

Digital Administrative Services Hub

One front door for administrative work.

DASH is an initiative to move administrative services out of email inboxes and into a structured, trackable system. When you submit a request, you can see where it is and what's happening with it. We're starting with sponsored research and expanding from there.

01 · Verticals

Where DASH is headed

Each vertical gets internal tracking and structured data, and central campus offices don't have to change how they work. The point is to make the status of every request visible.

ADR office

Research: Pre-Award

In testing

Cost-share approval workflows; intranet form routing into Jira.

ADR office

Research: Award Notification

Planned

Clear surfacing of non-standard terms & conditions; plain-language AI summaries, admin-reviewed.

Purchasing

Procurement

Order processing and equipment tracking, with clear status even for critical equipment.

Payroll services

HR / Payroll

Appointment processing; department email reflectors feeding Jira.

Facilities

Space Management

In exploration

Inventory tracking, building on existing college work; productivity metrics per space.

Dean's office

Faculty Hiring & Promotions

Proposed

Search and promotion committee workflows; pain points such as dossier routing.

Built to generalize

Supporting both centralized and decentralized colleges means DASH can work anywhere on campus.

02 · How it works

Out of inboxes, into one queue

DASH runs on Jira Service Management, already in daily use in the ADR pilot. You never have to learn Jira itself.

01

Describe it once

Submit through the portal or your department's email reflector, in plain language.

02

Routed & assigned

Triage sends it to the owning queue with an ID you can reference, like DASH-214, so ownership is clear and requests don't get dropped.

03

Tracked to done

Check the status yourself in the portal instead of sending "did you see my email?" follow-ups.
